My show is all about my passion for this great native American instrument; the banjo. I have created a show that I like to perform with a 7-10 piece band that takes my audience on a musical trip through many styles of music. Think of my show as a mini 'Pops' style performance where you get famous piano solos like Bumble Boogie, Malaguena and Liebestraum, as well a Broadway show medleys like Oklahoma! and Fiddler on The Roof. I alos like to pump up the audience with fast and crazy 'banjo' numbers like Duelin' Banjos and Waiting for the Robert E. Lee. The 4-string banjo was originally used in more of a Dixieland band context and I love to show off this uniquely American style of music by playing great numbers like That's A Plenty and The Tiger Rag. Additionally, you can expect to hear music like classical, soft shoe, ballads, and some of my favorite style: Latin.
       Throughout my show I converse with the audience in an easy going, humourous style, making people feel 'right at home' with the banjo. One of my favorite comments is: "Chris, you made me feel as though you were playing right for me in my own living room."
